29-year-old KS woman injured in wreck south of Maryville


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol released details on an accident five miles south of Maryville.

29-year-old Eboni Garrett, of Shawnee, Kansas, was northbound on U.S. 71 Highway around 2 a.m. Wednesday, when she traveled off the road, striking an embankment, becoming airborne, and landing on its top in a nearby cornfield.

Garrett was taken by Nodaway County ambulance to Mosaic Hospital in Maryville with serious injuries. Garrett was wearing a seatbelt.
